TOTORO'S SCREAM

¡Hola!

The work that I'm posting today is an old oil painting that I did for a friend's birthday. He is a huge fan of Studio Ghibli so I wanted to incorporate one of its characters to the painting. Then, I decided to make a version of Munch's Scream, but changing the screaming man for Totoro! (who is a kind of cat with an enormous mouth). 

The left picture is a photo of the finished painting while the right picture is the process.

My friend liked the painting very much :)

¡Hola! 

El cuadro que subo hoy es un trabajo que hice al oleo para el cumpleaños de un amigo. Él es un gran fan del Studio Ghibli, así que quise incorporar uno de sus personajes al cuadro. Decidí entonces hacer una versión de "El Grito" de Munch, pero cambiando el hombre que grita... ¡por Totoro! (una especie de gato con la boca gigante). He subido dos fotos: la primera del cuadro ya terminado y la segunda del proceso.

A mi amigo le gustó mucho el regalo, espero que a vosotros también.
